The Pidgin plugin lets you talk over instant messenger networks using Pidgin or other libpurple-based IM client. It connects to an IM Bridge plugin that runs in your IM client.

IM Bridge
Win32: Download the Windows build of the IM Bridge plugin and run the installer. Load the plugin in Pidgin and configure it to set a password/port. Linux/*nix: 1. Download the source package and extract it. 2. Type make (if there are any errors you may need to install a C compiler or other dev libraries like glib/libpurple). 3. Copy the resulting shoutirc-bridge.so to ~/.purple/plugins 4. Load the plugin in Pidgin and configure it to set a password/port.
