Most Common Questions

Can I get customized versions of IRCBot with special capabilities or no ShoutCast support at all?

Yes, we can provide customized versions of IRCBot with the price determined by the complexity of the modifications. Go to the Contact page to contact us for more information.

The AutoDJ mp3_decoder plugin reports: "Could not load libmad, unloading..."

You need to download and install libmad, which is available here. On Linux sytems, libmad is also often available either by default or with 3rd party repositories. To see, type yum search libmad or apt-cache search libmad, whichever is appropriate for your distro

What if I want to cancel/return my license?

You can post a support ticket within 7 days of your order requesting a refund and we will be glad to accomodate you and cancel your license and refund your money on PayPal.

After 7 days, we can refund 50% of your payment up until 30 days, when refunds will no longer be given.

How do I set up the AutoDJ MySQL Queue

Make sure you have set QueuePlugin ./plugins/adjq_mysql.so (or QueuePlugin .\plugins\adjq_mysql.dll for Win32).
Then set up your MySQL_Queue section as seen here.

What platforms and operating systems does IRCBot run on?

IRCBot runs on Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD. Please note: the FreeBSD version does not support running the IRCBot Client. (although you can still connect to the bot with the client from Windows/Linux)

What should I do if I have a feature request or idea for the bot?

Where can I find a list of commands or help configuring for IRCBot?

Older Issues / Less Common Issues

I get an error about SSLEAY32.dll or LIBEAY32.dll when I run IRCBot or the Client... (Windows only)

You need to install OpenSSL, it is available here.

When I run client.exe or ircbot.exe I get a pop up saying "Application configuration incorrect" (Windows only)

This is Microsoft's way of saying you don't have the Visual C++ 2005 Runtimes. I thought something more to that effect would be more useful, but I guess they disagree.
